Making Your Own Pomegranate Martini

Here are the steps on how you can make your own pomegranate martini.

Step 1. Gather the ingredients.

•2 tablespoons of water
•2 tablespoons of cane sugar
•2-6 ounces of organic or freshly squeezed pomegranate juice
•2-3 ounces of top-shelf vodka
•2 slices of lemon
•1/2 slice of a lime
•a glass and martini shaker
•ice

Step 2. Make the Syrup. Begin by making simple syrup. Warm a water and sugar solution on the pan over the high heat. Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove it then let it cool for awhile.

Step 3. Set Proportions. If you prefer less sweet cocktail, you could always replace Stevia for the sugar. But if you want to have a sweeter taste for your cocktail, you can whip a lot of simple syrup for it. Just be sure that the water to sugar ratio is 1:1.

Step 4. Coat Martini Glass with Sugar. Get a small plate. In thin layer, spread the sugar on the martini glass. Squeeze out the lemon juice on the rim of the glass.

Step 5. Combine the pomegranate juice and vodka. Fill the martini shaker with ice. Add pomegranate juice and vodka in a ratio of one part of vodka to two parts of pomegranate juice.

Step 6. Add Syrup and Lime Juice. Squeeze out the juice of the lime into the shaker. Add the simple syrup, then mix it in the shaker for 30 seconds. If you want to add some taste on it, you can add Triple Sec or Cointreuax. But the real fruit would not just give your cocktail an invigorating taste, but the pulp of the lime would as well give it an attractive full body.
